Terms of Use

The rules of using Revedo, in as few words as possible.

1. What this is

Revedo is an iPhone application that stores notes, photos, voice memos and links, catalogues them automatically, and lets you find them later by searching in your own words. The service is provided by Christian Klotz, Santiago, Chile.

By using the app you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

2. Your content is yours

What you save belongs to you. We acquire no rights over it beyond the technical permission needed to provide the service: to store it, process it in order to catalogue it, and give it back when you ask.

We do not use your content to train models, ours or anyone else's, nor for any purpose other than making the app work for you.

3. Your account

The first time you open the app an anonymous account is created. You may link it to your identity with Sign in with Apple so your memories survive a change of phone; it is optional.

You are responsible for access to your device. If someone has your phone unlocked, they have your memories — which is why the app offers a Face ID lock.

You can delete the account and all its content from Settings, without asking permission and without waiting. Deletion is final: there is no bin and no way to recover it.

4. Acceptable use

Revedo is a private space, so there is little to regulate. What you may not do:

If we detect a serious breach we may suspend the account. We would tell you first, unless the law prevents it.

5. Subscription

Revedo will be a paid service. When the subscription becomes available, the price, what it includes and the renewal terms will be shown in the app before any charge, and billing and cancellation are handled through your Apple account under App Store terms.

6. Availability

We do what is reasonable to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. There may be maintenance, and there may be incidents.

Keep copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Revedo is built to remember things, not to be the only place where something irreplaceable exists.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss. None of this limits liabilities that the law does not allow to be excluded, nor any rights you have as a consumer.

8. Changes and termination

We may modify these terms; if a change is material, we announce it in the app before it takes effect. You can stop using Revedo at any time by deleting your account.

If we were to discontinue the service, we would give reasonable notice and offer a way to export your memories.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Chilean law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
