Privacy Policy
Revedo holds things that matter enough to someone that they don't want to lose them. This page says, without hedging, what is stored, who touches it, and what you can do about it.
1. Who is responsible
Revedo is a product of Christian Klotz, based in Santiago, Chile. For anything about this policy, including the rights in section 8: hola@revedo.app.
2. What data we handle
Only what the app needs to work. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party kit embedded in the application.

The account starts out anonymous
You don't need to register to use Revedo. The first time you open the app an account is created with no name and no email, and your memories are tied to it. Linking your identity with Sign in with Apple is optional and serves one purpose: if you lose your phone, your memories don't go with it.
What we do not collect
- Your location. The app never asks for the permission and uses no location API. If you share a photo carrying coordinates in its metadata, Revedo strips them before uploading.
- Your searches. What you type when searching is used to answer that search and is never stored. We do record, without the text, the shape of the result — how many memories came back, how well the best one matched, and how old the oldest one was — because it is the only way to know whether Revedo is keeping its promise: that you can find something you saved weeks ago. We do not store what you searched for, or which memories came back.
- Your browsing, contacts, health or financial data. None of it is touched.
3. How your memories are processed
For you to find something you never organised, Revedo has to understand what you saved. The content of the memory is sent to an artificial-intelligence provider, which describes, transcribes or reads it and returns the result. That is what makes "yellow shoes" find a photo you never named.
We ask you about this explicitly the first time you open the app, before you can save anything. If you decline, the app doesn't work — not to force your hand, but because without that processing what's left isn't a reduced Revedo: it's a folder.
When you save a link
Revedo visits that page to get its title, image and icon. So the site you saved receives a request from our servers. We don't tell it who you are.
4. Who it is shared with
Nobody beyond what the app needs. These are all the processors, with no exceptions:

OpenAI does not use this data to train its models. Processing happens through their application programming interface, which is excluded from training by default.
We do not sell, rent or hand over your data to anyone. There are no advertisers, no data brokers and no trackers. We would only disclose information if compelled by a valid court order.
5. Where it is stored, and for how long
In the United States, on Supabase infrastructure. It is kept for as long as you have the account: there is no automatic deletion, because the whole point of the app is the opposite.
When you delete a memory, its file and its content are removed and only an empty marker remains, so your other devices can be told it is gone. That marker is removed when you delete the account.
6. Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and storage is encrypted at rest. Each account is isolated from the others in the database itself: the separation does not depend on the app behaving well, and no other user can see your memories, search them, or open your files.
Administrative access to the systems is restricted to the people who operate the service, and only to keep it running. The Face ID lock the app offers protects that phone, not your account on the server.
7. Children
Revedo is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child in your care created an account, write to us and we'll delete it.
8. Your rights
- Delete everything. Settings → Account → Delete my account. It removes your files, your memories and your account from our servers. No need to ask us or wait for a reply.
- Take your data. Settings → Your data → Send me the link. We email your account address an archive with your original photos and audio and your notes as text files. The link expires after seven days.
- Correct or amend. You can edit your notes and rename any memory in the app.
- Withdraw consent. By deleting the account. Since the processing is what makes the app work, it cannot continue to be used without it.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in Chile, you can exercise the rights under Law 19.628 at the same address.
9. International transfers
If you are outside the United States, your data is processed there. It follows from where the providers are, which is why it is stated above by name and region rather than buried in a clause.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we announce it inside the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always says when the version you are reading came into force.
